About this form

Use this form to lodge and pay for one or more Lease Conveyancing Enquiries with the Enivronment and Planning Directorate. A lease conveyancing enquiry is carried out prior to the purchase of a property. It allows the buyer of the property to be aware of any potential issues or problems.

Clients are encouraged to check current land use policies in the suburb that they are buying a property in. This can be done by visiting the Environment and Planning Directorate Centre at 16 Challis Street Dickson ACT during business hours (8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday).

The lease conveyancing enquiry also reports on development applications on adjacent blocks. Lease conveyancing enquiry transactions are GST exempt.
